The Scorpion Blacksting is Pirelli’s fast tread for hardpack and compact terrain, built to cut rolling resistance while keeping braking predictable and handling precise — for the bike park and dry, rocky trails. This version builds it on Pirelli’s HardWALL casing, a 60 TPI casing with bead-to-bead nylon reinforcement and a rubber insert above the bead, with the Soft compound for solid, controlled grip with excellent wear resistance, for aggressive riding and technical terrain (Pirelli). It is tubeless ready and hookless compatible, aimed at trail and enduro riding, including e-MTBs. For more protection, look at the DualWALL or DHWALL+ versions; for less weight, look at the ProWALL versions.
