Construction and damping

The Nitro Team Bindings use Air Dampening underfoot to absorb hard landings and reduce heel bruising while maintaining board feel and response. A 3° canted footbed aligns your knees and stance in a more natural riding position, helping reduce fatigue over long days. The 3D OptiFrame Locked Down ankle strap wraps the boot with a contoured shape for direct power transfer and secure support. An Übergrip PRO Toe Strap with an internal grip pad conforms around the toe box to keep your boot firmly in place in all conditions.

Binding interface and strap system

The Universal Mini Disc offers a smaller mounting footprint that allows more natural board flex and includes an angle snap feature so you can set and lock in your stance quickly. It is compatible with 2×4 insert patterns and Burton’s Channel® system. Speed Wheel 3.0 buckles and ratchets provide smooth, powerful tightening and fast release, even in cold temperatures. Cable Reinforced Connectors run stainless-steel cables through the ladders to reduce stretch and add long-term durability where you need it most.
