The women’s XC102 on Shimano’s DYNALAST Women’s last: three hook-and-loop straps, the glass fibre-reinforced nylon sole (stiffness index 5) and a rubber outsole you can walk on. Shimano designs it for trail riding, commuting and indoor studio bikes with SPD pedals; if you’d rather have a BOA dial, the XC302 Women’s is the next step.
