SPECIALIZED Recon 2.0 Gravel MTB Cycling Shoes – Dune White

The Recon 2.0 is Specialized’s shoe for days that mix gravel roads and trail. Its closure is the interesting part: a BOA Li2 dial on a soft lace made from Dyneema yarn, which removes the hard moulded guides, plus a separate strap over the toes to set volume where your foot is widest. Injection Stride sole at stiffness index 6.0, so walking is easy; 307 g per shoe in size 42.

• BOA Li2 dial on a Dyneema soft lace: no hard moulded guides pressing on the foot
• Forefoot strap above the toes to adjust volume for your own foot shape
• Injection Stride toe-flex sole, stiffness index 6.0 — flexes to walk, stiff at the cleat
• SlipNot rubber tread, two-bolt MTB cleat, 307 g per shoe in size 42
