Description

The Alpinestars CR-X Drystar Riding Shoes are your go-to solution for reliable weather protection, thanks to their integrated Drystar® membrane. This advanced waterproofing technology keeps your feet dry and comfortable in wet conditions, allowing you to ride with confidence regardless of the forecast. Designed for both riding and walking, the CR-X features an innovative 9 mm sole ‘DROP’ – the offset between heel and toe – ensuring a smooth, natural heel-to-toe transition akin to high-performance running shoes. An EVA midsole provides excellent all-day underfoot comfort, complemented by forefoot flex grooves engineered to promote natural foot movement and reduce fatigue. The removable Ortholite insock further enhances long-lasting comfort and prevents overheating with its Open Cell PU compound.Rider safety is paramount with a full-length Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) inner sole plate, delivering superior riding protection while maintaining walking flexibility. Discreet yet effective, hidden asymmetric lateral and medial TPU ankle discs offer robust ankle protection. The gear shift zone is reinforced with a highly abrasive-resistant TPU layer for enhanced durability, and an internal EVA layer within this zone reduces pressure, ensuring superior rider comfort during shifts. The asymmetric outsole stud configuration, combined with an oil-resistant dual rubber compound, provides exceptional grip and abrasion resistance on various surfaces, including unclean or slippery roads. A lightweight inner bootie and bellows tongue construction ensure a snug, glove-like fit that stays securely in position, making these protective motorcycle shoes a top choice for discerning riders.
