These versatile motorcycle riding gloves combine advanced safety features with exceptional comfort, making them ideal for both track days and daily commutes.
Description
The Alpinestars SP-9 leather gloves are a testament to high-performance design, blending MotoGP-derived technology with everyday usability. Constructed from highly abrasion-resistant, full-grain goat leather and synthetic leather, these gloves offer an optimal balance of durability, comfort, and protection. At their core is the cutting-edge SP-R TPU knuckle protector, optimized for superior finger flexibility and range of motion, effectively eliminating pressure points during braking, gear changes, and aggressive cornering. Riders will appreciate the anatomically profiled grip insert on the palm and thumb, coupled with a pre-shaped finger construction, ensuring a precise performance fit and reduced material bunching.
For enhanced safety, the SP-9 gloves incorporate Alpinestars’ patented finger bridge, strategically preventing the pinky and ring finger from separating or twisting in a crash, while also reinforcing outer seams against tearing. Additional protection comes from the SP-R TPU palm slider, multi-thickness foam and EVA padding, and aramid fiber reinforcements in key impact zones, delivering maximum abrasion resistance and impact absorption. Comfort is paramount, with a perforated leather backhand ensuring optimized airflow, strategically positioned stretch fabric in flex zones, and accordion panels on the first two fingers for superior dexterity. Modern riders will also benefit from E-touch fingertips, allowing seamless interaction with electronic devices without removing your gloves. The long cuff with a dual closure system provides a secure, personalized fit and extended coverage.
