BURTON Custom Wide faded snowboard

BURTON Custom Wide faded snowboard

The BURTON Custom Wide faded snowboard is a camber all-mountain deck for riders who want one board that charges groomers, handles park laps, and still has the backbone for steep, fast lines. Built on the iconic Custom platform with a wider waist, it balances powerful edge hold with a forgiving, twin-flex feel for regular or switch riding.

Who it’s for

This board targets strong intermediate to expert riders who like to ride the whole mountain with confidence and energy. The full camber profile rewards riders who know how to pressure an edge, while the wide platform gives bigger riders and large-boot sizes a stable, drag-free stance. If you want a single board you can take from early-season hardpack to midwinter side hits and spring slush, the Custom Wide faded fits that brief.

Core construction

A Super Fly II 700G wood core sits at the heart of the Burton Custom Wide faded snowboard, tuned for snap without a heavy feel underfoot. Dualzone EGD wood grain zones run along the toe and heel edges to increase edge hold and response when you roll the board over. A 45° Carbon Highlights fiberglass layup adds a full-length carbon layer that trims weight and sharpens torsional control for precise, lively turns.

Shape & geometry

The directional shape pairs a slightly longer nose with a perfectly symmetrical twin flex, so the board feels balanced for spins and switch riding while keeping extra drive and stability in the tail. Sidecut and effective edge are dialed for all-mountain riding, giving you smooth initiation, dependable grip, and enough running length to stay composed at speed. A sintered WFO base rounds it out with durable glide that keeps you moving across flats and through variable snow.

Choose the Burton Custom Wide faded snowboard if you want a legendary, cambered all-mountain ride sized right for wider stances and bigger boots.
