The Transiro Aeris Short Distance R1 Light is Fizik’s time-trial and short-course triathlon saddle in its R1 Light build: 7×9 mm carbon rails, a carbon-reinforced nylon shell and EVA padding, 146 g per Fizik. A cut-out that runs into a channelled nose relieves pressure in the forwardmost position, while the nose is sized to support maximum efforts. Long-course triathletes who stay in aero for hours are Fizik’s target for the split-nose Long Distance instead.
