Construction and response

The Phantom+ features a 4 mm heel rise in the baseplate to boost heel-side response and make transitions from toe to heel more precise. A 3° canted footbed positions your knees and hips in a more natural stance, helping reduce fatigue on long days. Air Dampening underfoot and HYPER Foam in the footbed work together to absorb hard landings and chop while maintaining a direct, responsive feel. A Premium Locked Down ankle strap with thermo-foam padding and a fiber-reinforced spine offers firm support and control, while the Übergrip PRO toe strap wraps securely around the toe box for confident hold.

Straps, buckles and interface

Cable reinforced connectors and ratchets use over-molded stainless-steel cables in the ladders and ratchets to improve strength and reduce stretch over time. Speed Wheel 3.0 buckles engage and release smoothly, even in cold conditions, and are built for repeated use without performance loss. The Universal Mini Disc creates a smaller mounting footprint to allow more natural board flex and includes a snap feature to lock in your binding angle for consistent setup. It is compatible with 2×4 inserts and the Burton Channel® system.
