The SMP shape and technology offer riders worldwide an alternative to more traditional shapes. Moreover, it still provides the support and technology to conquer all marked and unmarked trails on the map. The combination of Cam-Out Camber and Directional setback shape ensures easy riding even on the steepest descents, while the early rise in the tip and tail helps the board glide more smoothly over snow. The bonded Speed Formula HD base will give you high speed to avoid unknown snow you might encounter off-piste and allow you to quickly reach hidden terrains. If you’re looking for an affordable all-mountain snowboard with medium and forgiving flex equipped with a top-tier speed base, SMP is your best choice!
Description:
Directional Shape
The mother of all snowboard shapes. A purposeful, precise, and functional directional board. It delivers outstanding performance, easily gliding over snow, carving accurately through turns, and featuring a functional tail that lets you ride every run from the mountain safely and powerfully.
Cam-Out Camber Camber
Our Cam-Out Camber is a specially tuned version of True Camber with an early and smooth transition to the board’s tip and tail. The result is a board capable of quick, precise turns and forgiving even after a 713.5° landing!
Medium Width
Medium-wide boards provide a slight extra width to reduce toe and heel drag, improve glide, and boost confidence when carving on icy slopes.
Dual Degressive sSidecut
The dual sidecut combines a smaller radius in the center with two larger radii at the tip and tail, making it loose and playful. Nitro’s most forgiving sidecut.
All-Mountain
Our most versatile flex pattern combines Nitro’s signature pop with smooth response, allowing you to conquer the entire mountain.
Powercore Core
Our Powercore uses poplar wood from tip to tail, providing durability and the perfect blend of flex, response, and feel.
Standard base profile
Like a well-designed nose camber, the standard core camber features a thicker section in the middle—from the first insert to the last—gradually tapering towards the contact points, ensuring maximum speed stability and edge control.
Bi-Lite Laminates
Our riders trust Bi-Lite laminates designed for unbeatable durability, unique style, and a refined board feel.
Sintered Speed Formula HD Base
Our bonded Speed Formula HD base sets the industry standard for maximum durability, increased wax absorption, and higher speed on snow.
