Construction

The Airbrake MTB frame uses Oakley’s O Matter™ material for a sturdy yet comfortable structure that stands up to roost, debris, and repeated use. A SHIELD-style lens shape offers a broad field of view, giving you more awareness on tight, technical sections. Factory Lite Vent mesh helps move air through the goggle at slower speeds while acting as a barrier against mud, dust, and rocks. Combined with the wide strap, the chassis sits securely on the helmet and stays in place on rough, high-speed descents.

Lens performance

This version of the Airbrake MTB is equipped with a Prizm MX Low Light lens tuned for overcast riding. With 76% light transmission and a rose base tint, it boosts contrast and detail when the trail is dark, wooded, or when weather moves in. The lens falls into category 1, making it suitable for dim conditions where standard tints can feel too dark.
