SALOMON hooded jacket Bonatti WP black

SALOMON hooded jacket Bonatti WP black

The SALOMON hooded jacket Bonatti WP black is a men’s running rain and wind jacket built for fast training and racing on road or trail in changeable weather. Using a waterproof, windproof and breathable construction, the Bonatti Waterproof keeps you moving comfortably through wet, windy conditions all year round.

Outer construction

This jacket uses a 100% polyamide ripstop fabric that resists tearing and abrasion for reliable use on the trail. The lightweight, mesh-inspired fabric has a slightly transparent look and prioritizes low weight at just 150 g. A minimalist hood with an elastic edge fits close to the head and stays in place without pull-cords, while the streamlined cut follows your movement as you run.

Weather protection

The Bonatti Waterproof relies on an AdvancedSkin Dry 10K/10K membrane to block rain, snow and wind while allowing moisture vapour to escape. With 10,000 mm waterproofing and 10,000 g/m²/24 h breathability, it offers solid protection for wet training days and mountain runs. A durable water repellent (DWR) treatment on the fabric helps water bead off the surface, and waterproof zips close securely to keep out the weather.

Fit and running features

The fabric moves with you so the jacket doesn’t restrict your stride or arm swing. A smart vent system combines a front snap button with rear ventilation, letting air flow through while the jacket stays in place when partly open. The entire jacket packs down into its own pocket for easy stowage when the sky clears. Care is straightforward: machine wash cold at 30°C, tumble dry on low, and avoid fabric softeners and dry cleaning to maintain performance.
