The SALOMON Genesis Forces Mid GTX tactical boots are built for long days on variable terrain, combining trail-running underfoot comfort with waterproof GORE-TEX protection. Designed for demanding tactical environments, they balance support, grip, and durability in a mid-height, wide-fit boot.

Upper construction

The synthetic and textile upper uses ripstop fabric to resist tearing, ripping, and abrasion in rough conditions. An anti-debris mesh keeps grit out, while non-reflective materials and a medial protective pad support tactical use and instep protection. A GORE-TEX membrane and quick-drying upper help keep feet dry in severe wet weather.

Midsole & cushioning

optiFOAM EVA foam provides cushioned, all-day underfoot comfort, backed by activeCHASSIS for added guidance and agility under load. A molded OrthoLite sockliner follows the contours of the foot for extra cushioning and breathability, with an 8 mm drop and 34 mm / 26 mm heel-to-forefoot stack for protection.

Outsole

All Terrain Contagrip rubber and a two-part lug pattern with 4.5 mm lugs deliver secure traction on wet, dry, hard, or loose ground. The raised tread is tuned for adaptable grip when moving quickly over mixed surfaces.

Fit & sizing

The Genesis Forces Mid GTX has a wide width fit (US E standard) to accommodate broader feet and long hours on patrol. The mid height offers added ankle coverage, while the quickLACE system allows fast, one-pull adjustment and easy on/off with a lace pocket to stow excess lace.
