The controller drives the 500W motor of the Cross. You set the top speed of 45 km/h via a tunable H6C display with killswitch; the controller and display together form the tuning kit. You can replace it yourself in fifteen minutes: remove the saddle, unclip the old controller, move five plugs over. If your Cross has a black motor plug, check that first with the Colour Check, because then this model does not fit and you need the black version. Riding tuned on public roads is not permitted in the Netherlands and Belgium.
